THE GOLDEN AGE OF GOLDEN STATE

Listened to the latest Lowe Post Podcast and heard something that reaffirmed why I'm excited about our team long-term. Starting at around the 44:30 mark, they are talking about the Spurs, but in all respects are also talking about the Warriors.

The Spurs attract free agents for less money and get their players to play for less money because they've created a positive working environment that is beneficial to everyone in it. It's a culture of winning, mutual respect, pride in craft, and all without ego.

I called the Warriors 'Spurs Jr.' prior to the start of last season and was hammered by naysayers left and right. What we have now, is what I envisioned they would be. We are an elite franchise and at the beginning of a golden age for Golden State.
