WARRIORS GROUP WORKOUT

Draft Express released an extensive list of upcoming group workouts, one of which is being hosted by the Golden State Warriors. With Riley 'in charge' as the GM and both Mullin and Richmond out, it would be important for Don Nelson to be present to witness first hand how each prospect fairs.

Here's who's coming:

Golden State Workout (24 invites planned)

Chase Budinger
Nick Calathes
Omri Casspi
Dionte Christmas
Darren Collison
Wayne Ellington
Taj Gibson
Tyler Hansbrough
Luke Harangody
Joe Ingles
Damion James
Gani Lawal
Eric Maynor
Patrick Mills
B.J. Mullens
A.J. Price
DaJuan Summers
Jeff Teague
Marcus Thornton
Sam Young

Teams expected: GSW, DEN, LAC, OKC, PHX, UTA, IND, and more TBD

This group of prospects is expected to be borderline to non-lottery selections. This could mean that the Warriors are strongly considering trading the #7 pick and moving down. Because of the extreme depth of talent at PG, it may be a good idea to package an undesireable contract like Maggette's or Crawford's to move down to the late first round.

Guys I really like in the group above are: Nick Calathes, Eric Maynor, and Patrick Mills. If the Warriors opt to go for a PG late in the draft, they should sign a veteran PG to ease the transition. Also, I'm very interested to see how B.J. Mullens, Chase Budinger, and Omri Casspi do.
